I tried out Warby Parker glasses via mail a few years ago and even blogged about it, but never got around to buying a pair (my prescription hasn’t changed in about 4 years, so there was no rush). Finally after checking out the Warby Parker showroom on Divisadero a week or so ago, I plunked down for a pair of the Ballards in Gimlet Tortoise. It seriously only took like 5 minutes to buy them. EZ PZ. I thought that the freckling of the tortoiseshell pattern might be a bit much for my face, but I like the effect a lot. Well worth 95 bucks.
